The GUI error shown below is related to VyprVPN's service not starting properly. If you encounter this error, please use the steps outlined below to manually start the VyprVPN service to try and resolve the issue.
- Press the Windows key + R key
- The "Run" box will appear. Type in "services.msc" (no quotes) and click OK.
- Find "VyprVPN" in the services list and right-click it.
- Click "Start" to initiate the service.
- Open Task Manager and end the VyprVPN.exe process
- Wait for the service to enable (few seconds), then try opening the application again.
If that fails, then please set the VyprVPN service to "Automatic - Delayed Start."
- Press the Windows key + R key
- The "Run" box will appear. Type in "services.msc" (no quotes) and click OK.
- Find "VyprVPN" in the services list and right-click it, choose Properties.
- Under the General tab, set the startup type to "Automatic (Delayed Start)" and click Apply, then OK.
If the issue persists, please uninstall VyprVPN, and then reinstall it using the file found on our website here. When going through the uninstallation process, make sure to check the box that says VyprVPN User Settings.
Once it is reinstalled, try using VyprVPN once more.
