Note: Chromecast does not have the ability to natively run the VyprVPN application nor does it have any built-in VPN client.
VyprVPN makes an effort to define your LAN's scope based on the IP addressing of your currently active network interfaces.
In other words, if you establish a VyprVPN connection with a desktop or mobile device on the same network as the Chromecast, then you should be able to effectively cast content from your device to the Chromecast.
However, if you are unable to locate any cast destinations, then it may be necessary to connect using a VPN-enabled router.
Configuring VyprVPN on your router
VyprVPN can be configured directly on many different types of routers. Setting up a VPN on your router will create a single VPN tunnel for your entire network so that any devices connected to the router will use VyprVPN.
