VyprVPN supports a wide range of devices and operating systems.
Windows OS
All Windows devices running Windows 7, 8.1, or 10. VyprVPN does not support Windows Server nor Windows RT.
Mac OS
All Mac devices running Mac OSX 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra), 10.14 (Mojave), 10.15 (Catalina), or 11 (Big Sur).
Android OS
All Android devices running Android 5 (Lollipop), 6 (Marshmallow), 7 (Nougat), 8 (Oreo), 9 (Pie), or 10.
iOS
All iOS devices running iOS 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14.
Linux
- Manual VPN Setup
- VyprVPN officially only supports all devices running Ubuntu or Mint. However, you may be able to setup and connect to VyprVPN on any Debian based Linux operating system.
- VyprVPN CLI
- Currently, VyprVPN CLI only supports Ubuntu 16.0.04. We do hope to bring support for Ubuntu 17+.
Chrome OS
All devices running Chrome OS 53 and up.
Amazon OS
All 2nd generation Fire Stick (Firestick) and TV devices. VyprVPN does not support 1st generation devices.
Blackphone
All Blackphones running Silent OS.
Router
- Tomato Firmware
- All routers running Tomato by Shibby firmware.
- MIPS: K26RT-N or K26RT-AC
- ARM: K26ARM
- All routers running Tomato by Shibby firmware.
- DDWRT Firmware
- All routers running DD-WRT firmware versions that include the OpenVPN setup option. Most standard (std), big, and meg DD-WRT firmware versions include the OpenVPN setup option, while mini versions do not.
- OpenWRT
- All routers running OpenWRT 15.05 (Chaos Calmer).
- AsusWRT and AsusWRT-Merlin
- All routers running AsusWRT or AsusWRT-Merlin firmware versions that include a built-in VPN client.
- Anonabox
- VyprVPN only supports the Anonabox Pro and the Anonabox Tunneler routers.
QNAP
All QNAP x86 models running QTS 4.2.2 and higher.
Synology NAS
No minimum system requirements.
OpenELEC/Kodi on OpenELEC
All devices running OpenElec v5 and higher.
