However, although it is possible to use VyprVPN in virtual machines, the service is not designed with virtual machines in mind, and we can't guarantee that VyprVPN will work properly when used with virtual machines.
There are a few considerations to keep in mind when configuring the Virtual Machine connection:
- You may need to configure your guest client's connection as a bridged connection. How that's done will depend on the Virtual Machine software used (QEMU, Virtual Box, etc.).
- The firewall may require some configuration. Ports are handled automatically for VyprVPN on the host client, but the Virtual Machine may require some tweaking.
