VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server is an easy-to-use, highly secure VPN server deployment solution that enables users to add an additional layer of security when accessing your public or private cloud servers. Simply use the VyprVPN apps to connect to your network or utilize VyprVPN's worldwide network of over 700 servers. Either way, you will be protected!
In order to be able to register a VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server with a VyprVPN for Business account, you will need to add a VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server license while signing up, or you can add a license after signing up from the Subscription section of your account here. If you need to register multiple servers, you will need to add an additional license for each server instance needed.
When configured on a VyprVPN for Business account, all users on the account who have a VPN license assigned to them will see the name of the server in VyprVPN app's list of available server locations.
To get started, first take a look at our deployment options for VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server.
Once the software is installed on the server, the instructions will direct you to our Web Admin Setup article. Follow the steps here to register your VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server.
After deployment, all VPN users on the account will see the name of the new server in the Locations section of the VyprVPN app. When the user is connected to your VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server server, they are connected to your server instance, and not to VyprVPN's global network of VPN servers. All users can still connect to any of VyprVPN's server locations, as well as to the registered VyprVPN Self-Hosted Server.
