VyprVPN PPTP VPN Setup for Windows Vista

    Click Start, then Control Panel.

    Click Network and Sharing Center.

    Click Setup a connection or network.

    Click Connect to a workplace then Next.

    Click Use my Internet Connection.

    Enter a hostname from the VyprVPN servers list in the Internet address field

    Type VyprVPN in the Destination name field.

    Check Don't connect now then Next.

    Type in your VyprVPN Login (e-mail address) and Password in their respective fields; leave Domain blank. Then click Create.

    Click Close.

    Click Start and Connect To.

    Then select VyprVPN, and click Connect.

    Type in your VyprVPN Login (e-mail address) and Password in their respective fields. Click Connect.

How to Configure

  1. Open Network and Sharing Center in the Control Panel
    • Click Start then Control Panel
    • Click Network and Sharing Center
  2. Click Setup a connection or network
  3. Click Connect to a workplace then Next
  4. Click Use my Internet Connection
  5. Enter the desired VPN server address in the Internet address field. View the server addresses here.
  6. Type VyprVPN in the Destination name field
  7. Check Don't connect now then Next
  8. Type in your VyprVPN Login (e-mail address) and Password in their respective fields; leave Domain blank
  9. Click Create
  10. Then Close

How to Connect

  1. Click Start, Connect To, VyprVPN, Connect
  2. Type in your VyprVPN Login (e-mail address) and Password in their respective fields
  3. Click Connect
