VyprVPN can be a very useful tool in accessing websites and apps that are geo-blocked to a certain country or region. However, on occasion, some services may state that you are out of the service area even if you connect to a VPN server in the correct country. There are different reasons for these errors.
(Note: if you are simply trying to access a site or service that is not available in your geographic region, but is generally available globally, we highly recommend trying our servers located in Europe and Asia)
If you are trying to access one of these services, please try the troubleshooting steps recommended below:
- Make sure your VyprVPN app is using VyprDNS.
- Try in an Incognito window. If the service works in Incognito mode, clear your browser's cookies, cache, and temp files to attempt to get it working outside of Incognito.
- Disconnect and reconnect to the selected VyprVPN server location to obtain a new IP address.
- Connect to a different VyprVPN server location, if possible. If the service is only available in a single area, then you can skip this step.
- If you are unable to log in to any service while connected to VyprVPN, try first logging into the service while not connected to VyprVPN, then reconnect to VyprVPN while still logged into the service.
If you find that you still can't reach the service, please get in touch with support.
