In an effort to protect the privacy of users online, Chrome has added DNS over HTTPS (DoH) which will now be available by default for all Chrome users on Chrome version 83 and above.

This may affect users who want to use streaming services while using VyprVPN. If you experience any issues due to this, you can use the following steps to disable DNS-over-HTTPS (don't worry, VyprDNS will still have you covered!):

Enabling and disabling DNS-over-HTTPS

1. In the address bar at the top of Chrome, type in the following, and press enter:

chrome://settings/security

2. In the Security menu, select the round button to the right of Use secure DNS to toggle DoH on and off.
