Once you are connected to VyprVPN on your QNAP, you should be able to reach the device itself and any services you have running via the VyprVPN IP address you are assigned. However, this will only work if you have the Master firewall disabled on your account. While we recommend keeping NAT Firewall enabled for security reasons, you can disable it from the Manage Services section of your VyprVPN Account.
The Master firewall will block all unsolicited inbound requests, so you will not be able to reach the QNAP with it enabled.
After disabling the Master firewall, please log out of the VyprVPN application, then log back in for the change to take effect.
If you ensure the Master firewall is disabled and you're still having trouble reaching the QNAP, please ensure you don't have any firewall restrictions set up on the device itself.
