When you create a new VyprVPN account using a credit card as your payment method, you may see a one-time $1, €1, or £1 authorization hold on your credit card statement from VyprVPN or Certida. The purpose of this is to verify that it will be possible to charge the card.
This authorization hold is not an actual charge to the payment method and will not be debited, deposited, or collected. You will see this authorization charge automatically drop off your card statement.
The duration for which an authorization hold remains on the card varies by the card issuer. If you have any further questions regarding the hold, please contact your card issuer or financial institution.
If you need any further assistance, please contact our 24/7 Customer Success Team, who would be glad to assist.
