When you connect to VyprVPN, you get a dedicated tunnel to the Internet, bypassing your router's protections from inbound connections. To protect our users from attack, our NAT Firewall is enabled by default on new VyprVPN accounts.
To disable or enable NAT Firewall on your account, log into your account here, and NAT Firewall can be disabled or enabled from the Manage Services section on the left (Please note that any active VyprVPN connections will need to be disconnected and then reconnected before the change will take effect).
When NAT Firewall is disabled, our service will not block any inbound connections or ports. We encourage all of our customers to run their operating system firewalls and virus scanning software.
