If you are experiencing issues with your VyprVPN connection or with your Internet connection in general, it often helps to refresh your network equipment. If you have access to your location's modem and router, you can follow the steps below to refresh your Internet connection:
- Disconnect the power cables from both your modem and router. If you have a modem/router combination device, disconnect the power cable from that device.
- Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect power to your modem or combination device. If you have a separate router, do not reconnect the router yet.
- If your modem has a light that indicates Internet connectivity, wait until that light turns on before reconnecting power to your router. If your modem does not have a light like this, waiting 30 seconds before reconnecting power to your router is usually long enough.
- Wait for the network to become available again. This can take a minute or two.
Your network has been refreshed!
