Error 628 is a PPTP error which occurs if port 1723 is blocked or closed, or if a response wasn't received from the VPN server.
Solution:
- Ensure that PPTP passthrough is enabled on your router.
- Temporarily disable your firewall and/or other security software.
If step two above resolves the issue, then you will need to configure your security software so that it will not interfere with VyprVPN.
If you are connecting to a network for which you are unable to modify these settings it may be necessary to use a different VPN protocol.
