Error 691 is a PPTP and IKEv2 error which is caused by a login and/or password validation failure.
- Verify the login and password are correctly typed with correct capitalization.
- Ensure that you do not already have the maximum number of connections for your account active on other devices. If unsure, you can log in to your account on our website to verify connection status and that your account is active.
- Log out of the application and log back in. Even if you are fairly sure that your login and password are in the app correctly, logging out and back in can sometimes solve connection errors which are related to authentication.
