Error 6014 occurs if the OpenVPN client is unable to start during the connection process. Error 6014 only affects the OpenVPN and Chameleon protocols. There are many possible causes for the error, but we can assist with troubleshooting the issue.
1. Reinstall the VyprVPN app
Reinstalling the VyprVPN app will likely solve this error. First, uninstall the app from Windows using the instructions here.
Once the app has been uninstalled and the computer has been rebooted, reinstall the VyprVPN app using the file found on our website here.
2. If the error persists, temporarily disable your antivirus/firewall software
If this resolves the error, then you will need to configure your antivirus/firewall so that it will not interfere with VyprVPN.
3. If you continue to encounter the error after trying the steps above, please try restarting your network equipment (modem/router, etc.)
