Error 6001 can be caused if the certificate file used by the VyprVPN application is missing from its expected location in Windows.
Verify that the following file exists on your computer:
Local Disk (C:) > ProgramFiles(x86) > VyprVPN > Config > ca.vyprvpn.com.crt
You can download a fresh copy from this link if you find that the file is not located in the location above.
Once downloaded, move the certificate into the Config folder located at the folder path listed above.
You should then be able to connect with VyprVPN!
