Error 10010 lets us know that the driver needed for WireGuard to connect properly is missing. To resolve this error, please try the following steps:
1. Reinstall the VyprVPN application
This will solve most instances of error 10010.
First, uninstall the VyprVPN application using the steps found here.
Once the app has been uninstalled and the computer has been rebooted, reinstall the VyprVPN application using the installation file found on our website here.
2. Install the stand-alone VyprVPN Wireguard driver
If you are still receiving Error 10010 after reinstalling the VyprVPN app, we offer the VyprVPN WireGuard driver here as a stand-alone install in case there are any issues with the normal installation process. It is only recommended to try running this VyprVPN WireGuard installer if it has been suggested by a VyprVPN support agent.
First, restart your computer. When it’s back on, locate the installer file and right-click it, then choose "Run as Administrator," otherwise it may not install correctly.
After installing the WireGuard driver, please try your connection to VyprVPN once more.
